A large cheers to Sport Systems who donated 5% of all used bike sales this summer, $2,439 to BikeABQ. They sold over 200 bikes that the public traded in for Sports Systems credit.

- 8am – Running Medicine Celebration – join us for a 40 minute run/walk/bike along the Bosque. All speeds, ages and power levels welcome!!!
- 9am –relish some good food and coffee together at Bike In Java. We will share about the work Bicycle ABQ, Bike in Coffee and Running Medicine are doing to brand ABQ a healthier place to live, including how you tin get involved!

Ongoing advocacy efforts to meliorate road safety will be highlighted, including current legislation under consideration. Summary of this 2019 legislation is beneath.

BikeABQ and Sport Systems will again be helping with the Rail Runner Ride route. Ride your cycle from Borough Plaza to the Los Ranchos / Journal Eye Runway Runner Station where a Day Of The Tread (DOTT) rest station volition have refreshments. Ride the Rail Runner back to Alvarado Station then complete your Twenty-four hours of the Tread bike ride to the finish at Civic Plaza.

BikeABQ 4th Annual CYCLE TO BALLOON FIESTA
Engagement & Fourth dimension to exist determined
BikeABQ members are talking about plans for a ride from UNM Parking Lot Q on University near KNME along the Diversion Channel Bike Path north to the Bike Valet at the Albuquerque International Airship Fiesta Park. The ride will accept near one hour and is 8 miles long.
For riders who want a shorter option, a midpoint meeting place to join the group volition be where the Diversion Aqueduct Cycle Path goes under Singer Blvd., near the intersection of Vocaliser and Chappell.
At the end of the ride, bicycles are parked free and protected at the Balloon Fiesta Cycle Valet.
All participants must take head and taillights, helmets, and h2o.
BikeABQ volunteers will be needed to assist stop traffic (which should exist minimal) on Indian Schoolhouse Route and to act as caboose riders to trouble shoot and help motility the group forth.

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (AIBF)
on the lawn of the Anderson Abruzzo
Albuquerque International Balloon Museum.
Cycle Valet will be open:
morning sessions: 4:45am – 10:30am
evening sessions: iv:45pm – nine:15pm
On Sabbatum, Oct 13, the wheel valet will be open all solar day four:45am – 9:15pm which includes
the mid-solar day Music Fiesta.
